Feferi Peixes @ Changi Beach, Singapore
I rushed out this costume in one week while in Singapore on a weird sort of whimsical decision to do an experimental night time/beach shoot with a mutual friend (which was no small feat for me considering I have no idea where ANYTHING is there and I had to find it all in unfamiliar shops, then I had to borrow my grandmother’s antique Singer machine lmao). The shoot itself was kind of crazy: I brought the wrong contacts (blue instead of brown), we got lost in Changi for HOURS before the shoot, I cut my leg in the water but didn’t notice til I got home, and by the end of it all I was a) soaked and b) my trident was starting to disintegrate. The grey body paint also washed off a little in the photos (with all that water around….) so I had to edit them a bit- but nevertheless, it all turned out way better than I had expected and was a wonderful learning experience for us all. Not to mention, I met another wonderful and incredibly talented person on the other side of the world ;w;
